Coming June 8th…A Brand New Shop!
After a year in the making, I am SO excited to announce that next Friday, June 8th, I am launching an online shop!! (*cue nonstop squealing*) That’s right — a new shop is coming soon, and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve put together! This shop is going to offer products for private photo editors that you won’t find anywhere else!
Not only will you be able to purchase helpful products for your business, but you’ll also be able to sign up for mentoring and coaching sessions with me. I’ve been getting a lot of requests to do mentoring/coaching for a while now, and I am thrilled that I am going to be able to provide this service! Seats are limited, so make sure you get on the mentoring and coaching waitlists if you are eager to grab a seat! Waitlist members and newsletter subscribers will be able to sign up a few days earlier than the general public.
The Heart Behind this New Venture
I will admit, I never thought I’d open up a shop. For a long time, I didn’t believe there were any products that I could offer that would be beneficial to my audience. Then, a year and a half ago, something began to tug at my heart. I couldn’t let go of my desire to come up with affordable educational resources for aspiring photo editors. If you’ve followed me for a while, then you know my story, and you know how difficult it was for me at the beginning of my business. So, I started brainstorming ideas.
Eventually, I came up with an idea to write a workbook for young business owners. I was so excited! Within a day, I had already started mapping it out and designed all of the pages. I only got a few pages in, but my heart felt like it was on fire. I couldn’t wait to finish it. After revising and brainstorming some more, that little workbook slowly turned into something completely new: a step-by-step guide for aspiring private photo editors. You see now why this project took me over a year to complete??
Introducing: The Editor’s Business Binder
This product is the one that started it all. My business binder is a 75 page printable PDF that includes worksheets that will help you outline your business and craft a mission statement, document organization for all of your business’ important paperwork, yearly/monthly/weekly bookkeeping printables, monthly dividers for business receipt filing, resources to run your editing business smoothly, and (this is the *big* one) ALL of my editing workflows that I use to run my business. Yes, I’m serious! The Editor’s Business Binder has all of my workflows from my client interview process to catalog delivery and invoicing. AND this book + the additional resources that come with it are included in all of my mentoring sessions!
I get a lot of emails from aspiring editors who want to meet up for coffee and talk about editing. Unfortunately, as much as I would love to sit down and enjoy a chai latte while making sweet new friends everyday, I just don’t have time in my schedule during this season of my life. I also know that mentoring can be a huge financial burden, especially when you’re first starting out. While I believe that mentoring is one of the most important in-person educational investments you’ll ever make, I also believe that this workbook is the perfect solution for the photo editor on a budget!
With the purchase of The Editor’s Business Binder, you’ll also receive The Catalog Tracker Spreadsheet. The binder has the printable catalog trackers, but this product is even more of a game changer! With this one spreadsheet, you’ll be able to plan out the catalogs you have booked for the year and calculate the price per catalog. You’ll also be able to keep track of all of the little details that go into tracking your catalogs. This catalog can do SO much more, but I don’t want to spoil all of it just yet 🙂
