Celebrating Baby Moore – Gender Reveal!

I admit I thought I’d be blogging a LOT more about our pregnancy journey over the last 9 months. However, the truth is that being pregnant takes a lot out of you. You’re constantly tired, or feeling sick, attending tons of doctor’s appointments, and you frequently find yourself “nesting” in order to prepare for your new arrival. There’s also a LOT of information you have to soak in before becoming a parent. It honestly overwhelming. We took a prenatal course and it was a substantial amount of information. Although it’s been overwhelming, it’s been SUPER helpful!

On top of all of that, work has been pretty crazy since we found out we were pregnant. The last few months have been spent building up my editing team, staying on top of catalogs, and preparing for maternity leave. I’ve loved every second of it, but it definitely keeps me busy! I am incredibly relieved to know that my clients are in great hands while I take my leave.

We’ve also been really busy with projects around the house in preparation for Baby Moore. This includes putting together the nursery (reveal to come soon!) and making sure we have all the necessities for our newborn.

Now for the Reveal:

Now that we’re only 9 days away from our due date, it seems as good a time as any to reveal if Baby Moore is a boy or a girl. I mean…better late than never, right?

SO! Without further ado, we are SO excited to announce that Baby Moore is a….

That’s right, we are having a baby girl and we could not be more excited! We found out back in October when we did the early genetic testing. I still remember reading the results like it was yesterday. I couldn’t help but cry when we clicked the button and it said “Female.”

“I’m going to have a daughter,” I thought. I get to do all the fun things with her that my mom and I used to do together.

I honestly would have been happy with either a boy or girl. However, I admit I was excited thinking about how I get to be a girl mom. I was also so happy that we had finally gotten far enough along in our pregnancy that we knew what gender our sweet baby was. With our previous two pregnancies, we never got to know, and it’s a hard thing to think about sometimes.

Let The Countdown Begin

We cannot wait to meet our daughter and we cannot believe she is going to be here within the next 2ish weeks. I start maternity leave on Wednesday, and it is just truly surreal. I’m trying SO hard to be patient, but these last few weeks of pregnancy have been killer!

That Burning Question…

I know you’re probably wondering…do we have a name picked out? We do! We’ve actually had all of our names for 2 boys and 2 girls picked out for several years, if you can believe it. However, I won’t be revealing her name today 🙂 You’ll just have to wait until she’s finally here! So pray she comes soon so you can find out her name! Or, you know, so this mama can get just a little bit of relief from horribly uncomfortable pregnancy symptoms…

Seriously, it’s time for this girl to make her debut already!
