I'm the founder & owner of Emily Moore Boutique Photo Editing. If you asked me 8 years ago if I thought I’d be where I am in this small business of mine today, I would have laughed. That girl — the editor who quit her full-time 9-5 job without any clients & started a business from scratch — she never could have imagined her business growing so much within a couple of years. 500+ catalogs & over 510,000 edited images later, I’m so glad I was able to prove that girl wrong. Madelyn Smith

Madelyn is a perfectionist, & a bit of an introvert, who was a full-time wedding photographer in Chicago for about 4 years. She learned the ropes & started her career while she was in college getting a photography degree at Columbia College Chicago with a concentration in editing/retouching. After shooting weddings for several seasons, she found her favorite part of being a wedding photographer was actually the time spent editing the photos. Following her passion as a full-time photo editor, she was able to pack up and move to the sunny weather in Los Angeles! Besides photography and editing, she loves going out and doing outdoors-y things in LA, or staying in and watching movies with her film-buff fiancé, Nathan, & her rescue kitty, Luna!

Meet the team

Nicole Ryan

Nicole fell in love with photography developing photos in the darkroom during a summer camp in high school. Since then she has earned her degree in commercial photography from Ohio University and worked for photographers across the country. After starting her own portrait photography business she found that her favorite part of the process was editing and loves being part of an editing team! When she is not editing you can find her curled up with a cup of tea and fuzzy blanket, in her favorite yoga class, or working on a craft project (currently watercolor and weaving!).

Anouschka Rokebrand

Anouschka is originally from The Netherlands but now resides in Arizona. She’s been a professional wedding photographer since 2006, having shot over 300 weddings in multiple countries (The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Curacao, US, Switzerland, the UK to name a few). She still shoots the occasional wedding, but equine photography is where she focuses her passion the most! She’s been editing for other photographers the past few years and loves to be able to still be part of the wedding industry from the comfort of her own home. When she’s not working, she’s spending time with her husband, her dogs, hiking the Arizona desert, riding horses, doing yoga, barre or riding her Peloton bike.
