I'm Emily!

I'm a NC girl born & raised, a wife to my college sweetheart, mom to my sweet daughter Caroline & fur-mom to my floof, Riley. I love summer days at the beach, fall weekends in the mountains, & everyday in between exploring new corners of the world. I live for Italian food, tacos & margaritas. Currently taking life one adventure at a time.

We’re half way through May, which means we are in peak wedding season! To say things are busy over here at Emily Moore Photo would be an understatement. However, you know what helps keep things running smoothly so we can sail through this insanely busy time? Based on the title of this blog, you may have guessed it: our amazing photo editors!

Last month, I launched a “Meet the Editor” series on the blog. This is where I get to brag on each of my editors individually – because they deserve *all* the praise.  This is the second post in the series, if you haven’t read the first one, you can do that here.

Next up, we are going to meet Anouschka, the second editor in our “Meet the Editor” series! Follow along to find out more about this “Dutchie living in the Arizona desert”.

Anouschka Rokebrand – Photo Editor

Anouschka was born in a small town called Hague in The Netherlands, but currently lives in Tucson, Arizona. Although she has photographed over 300 weddings and loves everything about them, she is loving the editing life. She is thrilled that being an editor allows her to be a part of weddings from the comfort of her home. This has allowed her and her husband to focus on their current passion, homesteading.

Speaking of animals, Anouschka is also an amazing equine photographer! She adores horses (and country music), so she’s fitting in pretty well in Arizona. In the next few years, one of her goals is to add more animals to their homestead, and even purchase a larger property to accommodate all of them.

Aside from homesteading, Anouschka enjoys being active in nature as well as on her Peleton (in addition to Barre and yoga). She’s a bit of a health nut because when asked what her favorite road trip snack was, she said Lara bars and fruit (not your average answer of candy and chips!). Another thing she really enjoys is traveling; some of her adventures have been to the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Curacao, Italy, France, Portugal, Austria, Greece, and Belgium. She’s itching to go back to Rome and Ireland, but two places still on her bucket list are right here in the US: Wyoming and Montana.

Anouschka, you are so treasured and valued here at Emily Moore Photo! You are one of the reasons my business is able to thrive, and I know your clients value you as much as I do. You are an amazing editor!

I hope you enjoyed getting to know Anouschka a little better, and continue to stay tuned for more posts like this one until you meet the whole team. If you’d like to keep up with Anouschka, you can follow her at @anouschkarokebrand and check her out here. Also, huge shout out to my virtual assistant, Jess, for the “this or that” graphic!
